A Poem for 911
On that day
I see the absolute evil
On that day
On that day
I see the underlying good
A place
I once called it my second home
I once called it my second home
A place
I once tried to leave it all alone
Five years today
Old wounds gone
Life moves on
But the images of that day
Still haunts
The journey back though is long
I'll due back with a more uplifting song
For through devil I see God no wrong
Carrying us through darkness for so long
On that day
when I once again lean onto fence of ground zero
I'll once again see the evil soul
On that day when I once again walk the line of fallen hero
I'll once again see the goodness soul
A place
I have never stop calling it home
A place
I could not just leave it all alone
